[USL PRO] A penalty from Luke Vercollone and a long free kick from German Sascha Gorreswere enough for the second-place Richmond Kickers to beat the visiting Harrisburg City Islanders, 2-1, and extend their unbeaten streak to 18 games.

The win gave Richmond a season sweep over the City Islanders, who got a late goal from Matt Bahner.

Up next to Richmond: England's Crystal Palace on Monday night.

, last year's MVP, scored a hat trick to lead the Pittsburgh Riverhounds to a 5-2 win at the Real Salt Lake Reserves that got them out of the USL PRO basement. They have won four of their last five games after winning one of their first 15 matches.
