Manchester United wins third tour game in shootout

[INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLIES] Manchester United won the third game of its U.S. tour with a 5-3 shootout win over Inter Milan after their game at FedEx Field ended 0-0. In other action on Tuesday, Roma beat Real Madrid, 1-0, on Francesco Totti's second-half goal. The match at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas was marred by a late field invasion. Between them, the two games drew almost 119,000 fans.



United plays Real Madrid Saturday at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich., in a Guinness International Champions Cup match that is expected to draw more than 100,000 fans and break the U.S. attendance record.

-- The Richmond Kickers fell to Crystal Palace Monday night 3-0 in front of a record-setting crowd of 7,851 at City Stadium.
