[AMERICANS ABROAD] U.S. international Joe Corona scored the winner for Tijuana in its 3-1 win over Torneo Ascenso (seconddivision) Zacatepec to open the  Copa MX, Mexico’s midweek cup competition. Texan Uvaldo Luna, who played in Mexico’s under-20 national team, scored fordefending champion Tigres in its 4-0 win over Altamira before more than 35,000 fans.
