[DATEBOOK] The Football Association of Ireland announced that Ireland will play the USA in a men's friendly Nov. 18 at Aviva Stadium. The trip will be the USA's fifth to Dublin but first since 2002.

USA-Ireland Series:
1924: Ireland 3-1 (Dublin)
1979: Ireland 3-2 (Dublin)
1991: Tie 1-1 (Foxboro, Mass.)
1992: Ireland 4-1 (Dublin)
1992: USA 3-1 (Washington, D.C..)
1996: USA 2-1 (Foxboro, Mass.)
2000: Tie 1-1 (Foxboro, Mass.)
2002: Ireland 2-1 (Dublin)

The game will fall during FIFA's November fixture window in the middle of the MLS playoffs. The game will be played four days after Ireland plays Scotland in Glasgow in Euro 2016 qualifying.

The Sept. 5 game against the Czech Republic in Prague is the only game U.S. Soccer has confirmed for the fall. The USA is expected to play five games in the fall -- the other three at home.

The USA has a 2-4-2 won-lost-tied record against Ireland.
