[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] During a 1-0 Corinthians win over Santos in Brazilian league action, a Corinthians player retaliated on behalf of his teammate -- by striking Referee Raphael Claus in the back.

Claus is trying do is job and keep a close eye on the action when he gets in the way of a pass headed toward Jadson.

Petros responds by taking a detour upfield to hit Claus with a forearm.

Claus apparently thought it an accidental collision and Petros went unpunished. Corinthians won, 1-0, with a goal scored after Claus ejected a Santos player.
