[USA WOMEN] The USA opens play in the Concacaf Women’s Championship against Trinidad & Tobago Wednesday at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas (live on FoxSports 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET). A majority of the U.S. squad consists of holdovers from the 2012 Olympic gold-medal team. Three newcomers — Whitney Engen, Meghan Klingenberg and Chris Press — were all teammates on the 2014 European runner-up, now-disbanded Swedish club Tyreso,and have broken into the national team since blossoming abroad.
