Former Mainz boss Thomas Tuchel will replace the departing Jurgen Klopp as Borussia Dortmund head coach on July 1. Klopp, 47, announced that he was leaving at theend of the season after seven years in charge at the BVB last week. Tuchel, 41, quit his post at Mainz last year after leading the club to seventh, its highest-ever Bundesliga finish. He is widelyregarded as one of Germany’s top young coaches and was linked with Hamburg before the latter appointed Bruno Labbadia.
