USL newcomer San Antonio unveiled its first player signing on Tuesday: former Colorado Rapids midfielder Carlos Alvarez, a 25-year-old California product who played 51 MLS games forthe Rapids and and Chivas USA after joining MLS as the second overall pick at the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.
