Chelsea and former coach Jose Mourinho reached a settlement with former team doctor Eva Carneiro, whom Mourinho described as “impulsive and naive” for taking thefield to treat winger Eden Hazard after being called on by referee Michael Oliver. Carneiro workedfor Chelsea for six years until she left in September after clashing with Mourinho.
Terms of the settlement remained confidential but Carneiro rejected an earlier offer of $1.7 million.
