Borussia Dortmund is in transfer talks with Bayern Munich over Mario Goetze, the Dortmund academy product who scored Germany’s 2014 World Cup-winning goal but who has not becomeregular starter at Bayern since arriving in 2013 from Dortmund. Goetze has also been linked to Liverpool, where his former Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp is now in charge.
“I can confirm thattalks with Borussia Dortmund have taken place. There have also been talks with his agent, but the deal is not done just yet. Both clubs will have to reach an agreement over a transfer fee first,”Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.
