Christian Pulisic, who scored in Borussia Dortmund's 4-1 win over PSV, isn't the only American teenager on winter duty with a German club. Haji Wright debuted for Schalke 04's first team, while McKinze Gaines assisted on Robert Hermann's second goal for Wolfsburg in its 2-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the Florida Cup.

Pulisic came on the second half when Coach Thomas Tuchel started a different team and rounded off the win with a great goal in the friendly played in Spain.

Wright played the final 15 minutes for Schalke in its 2-1 win over Belgium's Oostende and almost scored in the game played in Spain.

Gaines' appearance was the fourth for Wolfsburg in a friendly game. Wolfsburg plays Brazil’s Bahia Thursday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista.
