$390,000 -- bonus for each player on Germany's national team if it wins the 2006 World Cup.

$195,000 -- bonus for each player if Germany finishes second.

$97,500 -- bonus for each player if Germany reaches semifinals.

$65,000 -- bonus for each player if Germany reaches quarterfinals.

$0 -- bonus for each player if Germany fails to reach quarterfinals.

(German players also receive sponsorship bonuses as part of an agreement between them and the German federation for federation sponsors to use players in promotional activities.)

$1,660 plus a television set -- bonus for each player on the West German national team that won the 1954 World Cup.

$46,600 plus a VW car -- bonus for each player on the West German national team that won the 1970 World Cup.

$83,300 -- bonus for each player on the West German national team that won the 1990 World Cup.
