Texas A&M shattered the NCAA women's attendance record for a non-NCAA Tournament game when it drew 8,204 fans Friday night for the Aggies' 1-0 victory over North Carolina. The Aggies or Tar Heels have played in the games drawing nine of the 10 largest crowds. The 1999 Big East game between UConn and Syracuse that ranks No. 3 on the list was part of a men's and women's doubleheader.
