COLLEGE: Rio Grande knocks off defending NAIA men's champ Mobile

No. 2 seed Rio Grande (Ohio) beat defending champion Mobile, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the NAIA men's national championship at the Olathe (Kan.) District Activity Center.

The Redmen got goals from Conar Dawson, Simon Carey and Tony Griffith to improve their record to 22-0-1.

COLLEGE: Yavapai prevails on penalties in sixth meeting against Mercer County in NCJAA men's final

Yavapai of Prescott, Ariz., won the NJCAA Division I title with a 4-3 win on penalty kicks over Mercer County (N.J.) after the teams tied, 2-2, Sunday in the final in Tyler, Texas.
