[MLS] Manchester United is headed to North America for a five-game tour of Canada, Mexico and the United States highlighted by a match against MLS’s all-starson July 28 (TV: ESPN2, TeleFutura, 8:30 pm ET). The AT&T MLS All-Star will culminate the four-game tour of MLS markets before heading to Mexico to open the new stadium in Guadalajara.
 
The North American tour, presented by Major League Soccer and Creative Artists Agency, will be United’s first since 2004.
 
“Manchester United are among the mostrecognized and successful clubs in the world, and we are pleased to have them compete against our All-Stars and two MLS clubs this summer,” MLS Commissioner DonGarber said. “We are proud to once again present our supporters with one of the most compelling All-Star Game formats in sports and we believe Manchester United’s North Americantour will be a tremendous celebration of the sport following the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.”
