Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, the honorary chairman of the USA Bid Committee seeking to host the 2018 or 2022 World Cup, was back to watch his second
U.S. World Cup game.
Early in the USA-Ghana game in Johannesburg, Clinton was joined by Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones and former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe in the VIP section. Also in attendance was Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and media stars Wolf Blitzer of CNN and Katie Couric of CBS.
Clinton, who celebrated with the U.S. players after their win over Algeria on Wednesday, was scheduled to meet with members of FIFA's executive committee Sunday in Cape Town.
