[NORTH CAROLINA-CLEMSON MEN] Playing his first game in almost three weeks after suffering a leg injury against South Carolina, Michael Farfan celebrated his return with the winning goal on a penalty kick in No. 2 North Carolina’s 2-0 win over Clemson that ran the Tar Heels’ unbeaten streak to 10 matches andclinched the ACC regular-season title.

Farfan scored in the 20th minute after Matt Rose was taken down by Clemson’s goalkeeper Cody Mizell in the area.

Alex Dixon shook the crossbar with a shot from 35 yards early in the second half, andUNC would have to wait until the 74th minute for its second goal scored by freshman Robbie Lovejoy with a back heel past Mizell.

The goal was thirdof the season for Lovejoy, who has only played the last five games for the Tar Heels.

Up next for the Tar Heels is a trip to Cary, N.C. for the ACC Tournament, where they will be the No.1 seed. Carolina will open play on Wednesday.
