Mexico called up uncapped Luis Angel Landin and Argentine-born fellow-striker Guillermo Franco for the World Cup warm-up against Ghana March 1 in Frisco, Texas.

Coach Ricardo Lavolpe overlooked the experienced Cuauhtemoc Blanco.

France and Jared Borgetti of English club Bolton were the only foreign-based callups. Barcelona star Rafael Marquez wonÆt return for thegame.

Goalkeepers: Oswaldo Sanchez (Guadalajara), Jesus Corona (UAG)

Defenders: Jose Antonio Castro (Club America), Diego Martinez (Guadalajara), Javier Rodriguez (Guadalajara), Ricardo Osorio (Cruz Azul), Joel Huiqui (Cruz Azul), Gonzalo Pineda (Guadalajara), Mario Perez (Necaxa)

Midfielders: Pavel Pardo (Club America), Antonio Naelson (Toluca), Luis Perez (Monterrey), Jose Andres Guardado (Atlas), Gerardo Torrado (Cruz Azul)
