Plata ups total to three goals in two Combine games

[MLS] After just three goals in the first two days, Day 2 of the adidas MLS Player Combine produced seven goals. Ecuadoran Joao Plata netted two goals for AdiZero in the first half to give him three goals in two games. Penn State's Generation adidas signee, Corey Hertzog, also scored two goals on Monday, while John Rooney, brother of English star Wayne Rooney, scored his first goal of the Combine.

Maryland's Jason Herrick added an insurance goal for AdiPure, which beat Jabulani, 2-0.

Duke senior Cole Grossman had the third goal for AdiZero in its 3-2 win over AdiPower.
