Two-time world player of the year and 2002 World Cup champ Ronaldinho has competed his negotiations to sign for Rio giant Flamengo.

The 30-year-old Brazilian said he wasleaving AC Milan to play in his homeland in hopes of regaining his place in the national team for the 2014 World Cup that Brazil is hosting.

He’s signing a three-and-a-half year contractwith a monthly salary of nearly $900,000.

Ronaldinho started his career with Gremio before moving to Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, with which he won the 2006 Champions League, and ACMilan.
