YOUTH: U.S. Under-17 Girls National Team Roster

The U.S. U-17 girls national team will hold a training camp from March 2-9 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., where they will play two matches against their German counterparts. The U.S. U-16s will also be in Carson and play the German U-17s. U.S. U-17 coach Erica Walsh called in 24 players, including midfielder Casey Nogueira, daughter of indoor goalkeeping great Victor Nogueira, who will leave directly from U-17 training camp to attend the U.S. U-20 camp in College Station, Texas.

GOALKEEPERS (2): Wendy Balogun (Freestate Soccer, Md.), Kira Maker (Bethesda SC, Md.).

DEFENDERS (5): Lauren Barnes (Arsenal FC, Calif.), Hannah Cerrone (Lewisboro Xtreme, N.Y.), Amanda Fancher (Dallas Texans), Gretchen Miller (Rochester Jr. Rhinos, N.Y.), Ashley Rape (Dallas Texans).

MIDFIELDERS (8): Courtney Barg (Dallas Texans), Sinead Farrelly (Spirit United Gaels, Pa.), Marissa Kazbour (St. Pete Raiders, Fla.), CJ Ludemann (Intense Soccer Acad., N.Y.), Christine Nairn (Freestate Soccer, Md.), Teresa Noyola (MVLA Mercury, Calif.), Kenda Perry (Pleasanton Rage, Calif.), Ella Stephan (Indialantic Force, Fla.).
