[UNDER-17 WORLD CUP] The USA advanced to the knockout stage at the Under-17 World Cup despite its 0-0 tie against New Zealand. The result left the USA and NewZealand tied with four points and a draw was needed to determine who finished second and third. The USA won the draw and will face the Group E winner, probably Germany, on Thursday in Queretaro.
