[WEST VIRGINIA-OHIO STATE] Ohio State, which reached the Women’s College Cup semifinals for the first time in 2010, got its first road win of the 2011 seasonwhen it beat Big East power West Virginia, 2-0, at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium Thursday night. Now comes the fun part: Sunday’s home game against No. 1-ranked North Carolina.

Ohio Statefinally broke a scoreless tie in the 72nd minute, when a shot by Kiiri Kuld just flicked past WVU goalkeeper Sara Keaneinto the net for her third goal of the season.

In the 89th minute, Tiffany Cameron scored a breakaway goal to seal the win off a pass from Megan Fuller.

Ohio State had lost its first game on the road. Its 1-0 loss to Missouri dropped it out of the Soccer America Top 25.
