[NEW YORK RED BULLS] The New York Red Bulls’ senior team may be in disarray, but there’s nothing wrong at the academy level. RBNY academy teams won all ninegames they played over the weekend by a margin of 39-6. Georgetown-bound Brandon Allen had a big weekend with three goals and two assists in the U-17/18s’ winsover Potomac (4-2) and D.C. United (2-0), while the U-15/16s pounded Potomac (3-0) and D.C. United (5-2). Harrison Steadman had hat tricks for the U-15s in apair of wins over the same teams.

Danny Bedoya’s first two goals of the season rounded out the U-17/18s’ scoring against Potomac and D.C.United. Goalkeeper Santiago Castano shined in earning the shutout against D.C.

Amando Moreno notched a goaland an assist, with Izzy Tandir and Malcolm Dixon rounding out the scoring for the U-15/16s against Potomac. Moreno,Tandir and Dixon once again all found the back of the net against D.C., while Adam Najem had the other two goals in the Development Academy contest.

Steadman’s goals came in 5-0 and 3-0 wins over Potomac and D.C. United’s respectively.

The U-14s buried Potomac (10-0) and D.C. United (5-1) in the Northeast Pre-Academy League. Jerel Blades and Jose Huerta each scored twice against Potomac, while Jonas Halvorsen,son Red Bulls assistant coach Jan Halvor Halvorsen, scored twice in the second half against D.C. United.

With under a minute remaining in the game,Dantae Greer set up Danny Laranetto to give the Red Bulls’ U-13s a 2-1 win against Met Oval.
