[AMERICANS ABROAD] Christen Press, who was called up to the U.S. women's national team for the first time, scored her third goal in two games to help Gothenburg FC to a 3-1 win Wednesday at Pitea in Sweden's Damallsvenskan. On Sunday, Danesha Adams and Kendall Fletcher scored to give Vittsjo a 3-1 victory over AIK.

In France, sub Ella Masar had the third goal in Paris St. Germain's 4-0 win over Vendenheim.

In the UEFA Women's Champions League, Gina Lewandowski went all the way in FFC Frankfurt's 2-1 win at Arsenal in the first leg of their semifinal series.

Alyssa Naeher was in goal and Alex Singer started on defense for Turbine Potsdam in its 5-1 loss to defending champion Lyon in the other match.
