Thursday’s USA-Japan Olympic gold-medal match was watched by 4.35 million viewers and had a national household rating of 2.74, making itthe most-watched and highest-rated event ever on NBC Sports Network.

Until the 2012 Olympics, NHL Stanley Cup Final broadcasts on VERSUS had been the network’s mostwatched events,

Additionally, the USA-Japan match drew 1.467 million streams on NBCOlympics.com, the most-streamed event in Olympics history.
