U.S. SOCCER: Arena recalls Keller, Reyna, Wolff and McBride for Gold Cup

U.S. national team coach Bruce Arena recalled four 2002 World Cup veterans who missed the Confederations Cup for the Gold Cup tune-up against Paraguay July 6 in Columbus, Ohio (TV: ESPN2, live, 2:55 p.m. ET) and the Gold Cup (July 12-27).

Kasey Keller (injury rehab), Claudio Reyna (injury rehab), Josh Wolff (returning from injury), Brian McBride (wife's birth of a baby girl) all return for the Paraguay game.

Keller and Reyna are among five European-based players called in along with Cory Gibbs, Greg Vanney and Eddie Lewis.

Goalkeeper Joe Cannon is on the roster for the Paraguay game but will be replaced by Tim Howard.

Besides Howard, the following players will join the roster for the Gold Cup: Adin Brown, C.J. Brown, Nick Garcia, Chris Armas, Chris Klein, Steve Ralston, Taylor Twellman.
