Stoke City coach Tony Pulis confirmed that U.S. international Brek Shea has shaken off a long-term foot injury and will be in the squad to face Fulham on Saturdaywhen the English Premier League resumes. The former FC Dallas winger was signed at the end of the January transfer window and has yet to make his first-team debut. However, he did score in his first game for the reserves on Feb. 11.

Pulis said that both Shea andMarc Wilson would be available after playing in a behind-closed-doors game with Scunthorpe on Monday with no problems. “The two of them will be in the squad – whether or not I startwith them, we will have to wait and see,” he said. “I think Brek has been out for three or four months with an injury, so this is almost like a preseason for him, but he is a fit lad I have to say.The work we have done with him has shown that he is very mobile and athletic, and very willing as well. So he is not far away.”
