[ECNL] The Elite Clubs National League will welcome three new clubs -- FC Nova (Idaho), North Carolina Fusion and Match Fit Academy FC (N.J.) -- as members for the 2013-2014 season.

“The selection process becomes more and more difficult each year," said ECNL Executive Director Jay Howell. “The ECNL is confident that these three great clubs will add quality to the league and we look forward to seeing their players on the field next season."

Acceptance decisions were based on multiple factors, including competitive history, technical leadership, player pool size and quality, history of player development and geographic location.

FC Nova was formed in 2011 following the merger of Les Bois SA and Boise Capital SC.

NC Fusion is an umbrella organization between Twin City Youth Soccer and Greensboro United. On the boys side, it is entered in the Development Academy.

Match Fit is an established girls power. Its U-16s won their division in the 2013U.S. Youth National League and the U-17s were runners-up.
