[CONCACAF UNDER-17 CHAMPIONSHIP] Guatemala came back from an early deficit to beat Haiti, 3-1, thanks to Christopher Ortiz's hat trick Tuesday at the Concacaf Under-17 Championship. The result assured the USA and Guatemala of places in Sunday's all-important quarterfinals.

The USA, a 3-0 winner over Haiti, will win the group with a win or tie against Thursday in Panama City thanks to its better goal difference.

The opponents for the USA and Guatemala will be Mexico and Honduras. Honduras' 4-1 win over Cuba on Tuesday eliminated Cuba. Mexico leads Group D thanks to its 5-1 win over Cuba.

Ortiz struck for a pair of first-half goals and set up an insurance tally in the second half after Haiti went ahead on Jean Derival's goal in the 12th minute at Estadio Rommel Fernandez.

Devron Garcia scored twice in the first half and Brayan Velasquez and Rembrandt Flores added goals in the second half for Honduras in Tuesday's second game at Estadio Rommel Fernandez.

Barbados twice rallied from one-goal deficits to register 2-2 draw with Jamaica in a Group A game on Monday night. The result left Jamaica in first place with two points, and Barbados and host Panama tied with one point heading into Wednesday's deciding game in La Chorrera.

Trinidad & Tobago beat Costa Rica, 2-0, to leave things up in the air Group B. Canada, a 2-0 winner over T&T, plays Costa Rica on Wednesday.
