[CONCACAF UNDER-17 CHAMPIONSHIP] Canada beat Honduras, 4-2, in a shootout in soggy Panama City after the third-place game at the Concacaf Under-17 Championshipended in a 2-2 tie. Canada twice rallied with late goals, in the third minute of stoppage time and 119th minute.
Jordan Haynes of the VancouverWhitecaps FC Residency had scored in the 119th minute to force penalty kicks.
It was the second time Canada had come back from a one-goal deficit. JordanHamilton of the Toronto FC Academy scored on a header in the third minute of stoppage time to force overtime.
Canada and Honduras will join Mexico and Panama at the U-17 World Cupin the United Arab Emirates in October.
