[AMERICANS ABROAD] Alejandro Bedoya is making a strong case for inclusion on the U.S. Gold Cup roster -- if not the roster for the upcoming friendlies and World Cup qualifiers. The winger assisted on first-place Helsingborg's fifth goal in a 5-0 win over Hacken, its fifth straight win in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

The former Boston College star who attended the winter national team camp has five goals and four assists in 11 competitive matches in 2013.

He joined Helsingborg on a short-term stint last summer after Rangers filed for bankruptcy and extended his stay in January.
