According to the AP, a new report from Deloitte, a consultancy firm, says that Qatar plans to spend up to $200 billion over the next decade in preparation for hosting the World Cup in 2022. Thereport, released on Tuesday, says that $140 billion will be spent on transportation infrastructure, including a new airport, roads and a metro system capable of dealing with the 400,000 fans expectedto descend on the Middle Eastern country for the month-long tournament.
