[VIDEO PICK: Olimpico] Freshman Gabbi Miranda needed only four minutes to score — on an Olimpico no less — for No. 3 UCLAin its 4-0 win over Northeastern.

With lanky Sam Mewis standing in front of Northeastern keeper PaigeBurnett, Miranda fired her shot into the far side of the goal to give the Bruins the lead.

Miranda, a product of Colorado Rush, was one of two freshmen to start for the Bruinsalong with Darian Jenkins, with whom she played on the U.S. under-17 women’s national team. Jenkins put UCLA ahead 3-0 in the 16th minute.
