[CONCACAF UNDER-17 WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP] The USA will face Trinidad & Tobago, Guatemala and Canada in Group B play at the Concacaf Under-17 Women’sChampionship to be held Oct. 30-Nov. 9 at the Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The USA opens the competition on Oct. 31 against Trinidad & Tobago, will face Guatemalaon Nov. 2 and finish group play against Canada on Nov. 4. All three of the USA’s group games kick off at 6 p.m. local time with the first two at 7 p.m. ET and the third against Canada at 6 p.m.ET due to the end of daylight savings time in the USA.
The draw also put host Jamaica, Mexico, Haiti and El Salvador in Group A.
The semifinal matches take place Nov. 7 andthe championship and third-place match on Nov. 9.
The two semifinal winners will join U-17 Women’s World Cup host Costa Rica as the three Concacaf teams at next year’s worldchampionship, which will be held March 15-April 5 at four venues in Costa Rica.
