Split squads win, draw against Chivas USA teams

[U.S. UNDER-15 BOYS] The U.S. under-15 boys national team split into two squads for games against Chivas USA U-16 and U-15 teams.

In the first match, the U.S. U-15s played Chivas USA’s U-15s to a 2-2 draw, coming from behind twice thanks in part to sub Jesus Nunez. He scored the USA’s first game-tying strike in the 63rd minute and set up Omir Fernandez for the final equalizer in the 76th minute.

U.S. coach Hugo Perez was able to field a completely new set of players for the day’s second match against the Chivas USA U-16 team. The U.S. U-15s won 2-0 on second-half goals from Adolfo Trujillo and Lucas Del Rosario.
