Mike Pantalione has an opportunity to break the NJCAA’s men’s career coaching record for wins Saturday when Yavapai plays Otero with an NJCAA Division I tournament berth on the line for the winner.The Roughriders topped Pima, 3-2, in the Region 1 semifinals to give Pantalione 534 wins and move him into a tie for the most wins with former Ulster County (N.Y.) head coach George Vizvary, whostepped down after 37 years in 2010. Pantalione crossed paths with Vizvary three times.
