Spain’s referees’ committee (CTA) on Monday reported Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo to the Spanish soccer federation (RFEF) following theircriticism of Undiano Mallenco, the referee who oversaw Sunday’s ‘Clasico’ between Real and Barcelona. Mallenco awarded three penaltiesduring Barcas 4-3 win– two for the visitor and one for Madrid – and showed Ramos a straight red card on 64minutes after he had fouled Neymar in the penalty area. Most previous cases point to financial penalties for similar offenses instead of suspensions.
