Leon won Mexico’s first division Clausura tournament on Sunday for the second time in as many years, as Ignacio Gonzalez’s overtime header proved to be enough to beat Pachuca 2-0 inthe final second-leg. Pachuca took the first game, 3-2, but Argentine Mauro Boselli’s 66th-minute header leveled the score on aggregate. Because the Mexican league does not use the awaygoals rule, the game headed into overtime, where Gonzalez headed home from a corner to secure the championship for Leon.
