[BRAZIL 2014] Hours after undergoing knee surgery that threatened to derail his World Cup campaign, Uruguay star Luis Suarez promised that he'd work hard to get fit for La Celeste's bid to reclaim the title it won in Brazil in 1950.

"Many thanks to all of you for your support. Relax, because I'll get there and work hard these days to be 100 percent to help my teammates," Suarez said in an interview with sports website ovaciondigital.com.uy.
