Eddie Johnson gets red card rescinded

United striker, who did not makethe USA’s World Cup short list after playing a huge role in qualifying for Brazil 2014, had his red card picked up in D.C. United’s 2-1 loss to New England rescinded by MLS’s independent review panel.It clears Johnson to play for D.C. United against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night at RFK Stadium.
