The Independent and Daily Mirror on Sunday reported that Frank Lampard has agreed to join MLS club New York City FC on a free transfer after being released by Chelsea.Lampard, 36, joined David Villa, who signed a three-year deal with NYCFC on Monday, at Manchester City’s Carrington complex on Saturday as they looked to put the finishingtouches on their respective moves. If he signs, Lampard will end his 13-year spell at Stamford Bridge, having joined the Blues from West Ham in 2001.
