[MLS: Week 14] Jermain Defoe, overlooked for England's World Cup team, scored his from fourth goal in four games, from the penalty spot, since the roster announcement to give Toronto FC a 1-0 win over San Jose. Vancouver extended its unbeaten streak to a record seven games when Pedro Morales scored his sixth goal of the season in the 81st minute to give the Whitecaps a 3-3 tie at Philadelphia.
