Al-Arabi coach Dan Petrescu on Tuesday revealed that Xavi Hernandez has signed a pre-contract at the Qatari club for the next two seasons, and will earn betweeneight and 10 million euros ($10.9-$13.6 million) per year. The Barcelona legend had been a reported target of new MLS club New York City FC, but Petrescu, a former Chelsea player, revealed toAS that Xavi has already signed a pre-contract, suggesting that he will join the Qatari League club next season.
