Metro is reporting that Manchester United is set to announce the 28.7 million pound ($48.7 million) signing of Ander Herrera as early as Tuesday evening. The site reports that ifUnited does not move before July 1, the Athletic Bilbao midfielder’s release clause rises to 33.5 million pounds ($57 million). Herrera, 24, was a target of the Old Trafford club last season,but a deal fell apart late on the last day of the summer transfer window.
