Jozy Altidore will miss the USA’s final Group G game against Germany on Thursday because of the strained left hamstring the striker sustained during the USA’s 2-1 win againstGhana last Monday, ESPN reports. Altidore also missed the USA’s 2-2 draw with Portugal on Sunday because of the injury. According to USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann, Altidore could return forthe knockout stage should the USA get that far. The USA needs a draw or win against Germany to be 100 percent certain of qualifying for the round of 16.
