Manchester United on Monday confirmed a record deal with soccer apparel maker Adidas in which the latter will outfit the Old Trafford club beginning in 2015 for a whopping 70 million pounds peryear for an undisclosed number of years. That sum is more than double the amount United currently pockets from current partner Nike. According to the Daily Mail, Adidas beat out stiffcompetition for the rights from Warrior, which outfits Liverpool, and Under Armour.
