Brian McBride scored on a fine long-range volley after latching on to a superbly floated through-ball from U.S. compatriot Carlos Bocanegra as Fulham downed West Ham, 3-0, in a FA Cup fifth-round replay Tuesday. Three minutes after setting up 76th-minute McBride's goal, the game's first, Bocanegra dished the ball to Barry Hayles for a tap-in for Fulham's second.

Bocanegra's outstanding performance comes on the heels of his blunder on Saturday that led to Wolverhampton's winning goal in a 2-1 Fulham loss in league play.

Against West Ham, McBride scored with a looping left-footed volley at the edge of the penalty area after he chested down Bocanegra's chip from inside the Fulham half.
