Orlando City owner Flavio Augusto da Silva revealed that the MLS club is in advanced talks to sign AC Milan forward Robinho. “We are in advancedtalks,” da Silva told LanceNet. “But there are still many steps that need to be taken to sign Robinho. Milan have kindly granted us permission to negotiate, and this is somethingwe are doing. For us, it’s also important that Robinho plays in Brazil for the next six months, as has happened with Kaka.” He added: I believe we can do a similardeal, but first we have to get Milan to terminate his deal, sign a contract with the MLS and then with us. And then we have to find a Brazilian club that will agree to a loan. It’s difficult, but we’ll see.”
