[AMERICANS ABROAD] Mix Diskerud's Rosenborg dropped a 3-1 decision at first-place Molde, falling 12 points behind the leader and into fourth place with 13 games to play in Norway's Tippeligaen. Sacha Kljestan came off the bench late in three-time defending Belgian champion Anderlecht's 3-1 opening-day win over Mouscron-Peruwelz.

SATURDAY. Joe Corona got his first start of the Liga MX season in Tijuana's 2-1 loss to Club America on Paul Aguilar's goal in the 90th minute. Greg Garza also started for Xolos, who lost their second game in two outings. Jeb Brovsky debuted for Norwegian champion Stromsgodset in a brief appearance in Saturday's 3-1 win over Sandnes Ulf. The win pushed Stromsgodset into second place.
